The Entertainer/Inspirational Speaker
Since she was a little girl, Angela has been entertaining family and friends with her skits and stories and “attitude”. She’s always loved having an audience and has a gift for making people feel comfortable. She inspires and encourages her audience and provides an energy source like no other. Many people have told her that there is something about her just being in the room that changes the energy. Her positive, anything-is-possible attitude is what her clients, students and audiences crave.
The Entrepreneur
Since she was a teenager Angela has been doing whatever she could to make a buck. With parents that divorced/married each other 3 times and moving over 30 times, she learned to survive, adjust and take it a day at a time. She never did like having just “one” job – BORING – so she had several part time jobs and some contract work – like cleaning houses, cat sitting and filing. She has done everything from being a mock patient (like the Seinfeld episode) to a clown, Tupperware lady, cocktail server, aerobics instructor, ice rink guard, office manager to Business Owner and Adjunct Instructor. She’s been involved with a dozen start-up businesses either as an owner, consultant or project manager. She has been a corporate employee and brought concepts and ideas to the leadership team. She’s not afraid of risk and believes that change is constant and necessary for growth.
The Realist
Over the last 3 years, Angela has experienced more challenges than most - losing her dream business to a corporate entity, personal income decreased by almost half, separation, divorce after 20 years of marriage, 2 moves to smaller houses, selling furniture and belongings because they wouldn’t fit in the rental house, losing $150K invested in a home, trading in two cars for one, full custody of 4 teenagers, one kid off to college, one kid challenging her daily, keeping up with 4 kids in 6 activities – 12 practices and 3 games a week, rehearsals and performances, dating, friends, father with cancer, ill grandmother, etc. She has learned humility to the extreme. Just about everything she used to pass judgment on, she got to experience firsthand.
She has learned that Dreams Don’t have Deadlines (Mark Victor Hanson) and that sometimes we have to put dreams on hold to manage a crisis. When most people would have crawled under the covers and hoped that it would all go away, Angela pushed through and took ACTION and inspired some folks along the way. She believes that with every challenge and crisis we face, we are supposed to learn something. She is spiritual and believes that God must have really wanted her to learn some things the last few years.
The Employee
She is currently a Business Consultant with Century 21 Real Estate and consults directly with 50 franchise owners to assist in their strategic plans. She is a social media guru and has trained 100’s of real estate agents and brokers on how to incorporate social media into their business. She’s the MC for the annual Awards Celebration and the Facilitator for Broker Council Meetings.
